We infiltrated a platform we all use to know where to go: Google Maps, with messages on grocery bags inviting people to shop at HEB.com.mx. We distributed our bags in areas close to the competition. Afterwards, local guides took pictures of themselves using our bags in other supermarkets and uploaded the photos to Google Maps, achieving the first position.

 

So when they searched for supermarkets like: Walmart, La Comer or Soriana, the first thing they saw was their facade, but with our messages. In this way, we created a medium where there was no advertising: Google Maps.
